I am a long arm quilter, mother of four, country girl at heart, crafty kind of person who doesn't mind taking her time to enjoy this journey called life.
I started my quilting journey about nine years ago. I have learned so much since then....many, many late nights after the kiddos are asleep are spent browsing the internet, reading blogs, and studying different quilts.
I love, love, loved piecing, but quilting a quilt was so intense on my domestic machine. It was terribly difficult wrestling all of those layers through such a small space. I have to be honest here. I did not enjoy those times at all! Finally, I had enough of it and my husband had heard enough of my whining. We purchased my long arm machine November 2010, and life has been much smoother since.
I thoroughly enjoy long arm quilting. I have a Queen Quilter with a stitch regulator. All of my work is done freehand. I am constantly seeking to broaden my horizons and improve on my skills. My aim and focus on every quilt is do the absolute best work I can possibly do and to make my customers glad they chose me to quilt their quilt.
